Artist Proof by Keith Poon & FILTH
Ocean Star Apparel, Inc. and designer Keith Poon (aka head-honcho of ToyQube) are pleased to announce the launch of the much anticipated ARTIST PROOF (AP) Brand. As the AP Creative Director, he has developed the "Brand Canvas" for popular artists from all over the world to collaborate on a limited edition basis.
Each season will see a collaboration with a different artist (in 4 different colorways). In its first collaboration, Artist Proof has teamed up with Lucas Irwin, aka *FILTH*. The initial collection consists of Tees, French Terry Hoods & Crewnecks, Tricot Jackets, Denim and Sweaters.
Artist Proof will begin to distribute to select better specialty and chain stores for the Holiday 2008 season (circa November) Meanwhile - CLICK THRU for mondo more designs/pics of AP-apparels :)
ABOUT KEITH POON:
Keith Poon, is a New York based designer and the owner of ToyQube. Since Opening ToyQube over four years ago, he has taken himself from owner, retailer to producer and manufacturer of designer toys. Keith has worked on several toy design projects over the years, with the likes of Huck Gee and Tokidoki. He has also collaboratively worked on projects with Futura Laboratories and the 360ToyGroup. He has firmly established himself and his company in the vinyl/designer toy community. Keith is also known as the designer of both Sharky and Kanser collectible vinyl toys.
ABOUT *FILTH*:
In its first collaboration, Artist Proof has teamed up with the formerly Brooklyn based artist and designer known as FILTH aka Lucas Irwin. Lucas was the first design director of the award-winning ReadyMade magazine. Filth is the design alter ego of Lucas Irwin. For over a decade Lucas Irwin has been creating both designs and artwork under the umbrella of Filth. His work finds itself at home across platforms ranging from editorial, product and toy design to fine art, illustration, interactive design and motion graphics. His client list includes Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, Bravo, Hasbro, Montecristo Rum, and Corbis Inc.
